With theincreased use of technology and the growth of distance learning, the teacherhas become more of a tutor who guides a student, rather than a lecturer. Inturn,the student has to take more responsibility for his or her learning in theabsence of direct teacher
contact.The report also stressed that high school and university students should learncomputer skills in order to cope with the demands of the future workplace.
